MANIFESTO
NON SO is at the base of everything that interests me: it is the “West”, the world of the discovery, the unknown and the surprise … and also of the disappointment. Often in architecture knowledge results in experience leading to presumption: which is the worst enemy of creativity.
NON SO belongs to the future and it is the source of curiosity, research, experimentation and faith. To project means to throw forwards an idea or a thought, providing it with the instruments to become real and to face the passing of time, thus becoming part of a world in which unpredictable things happen.
NON SO allows us to enjoy the trip, to enjoy the incident, to take advantage of the error without being frightened, to overcome the taboos and to open those doors that other people’s experience keep closed.
NON SO also belongs to that past of which we know and want to recognize only the most convenient version, neglecting what is too difficult to be learnt.
NON SO encourages to leave alone, to look for new fellow travelers who, like you, fumble around in the dark and listen to you curious to know what they believe you know.
NON SO is a key to reading.
I like the optimism of the NON SO: that idea to be the first to find something, accepting the risk.
